[Greek philos loving + harmonia music] On behalf of the New Hampshire Philharmonic Orchestra (NHPO), it is my pleasure to welcome you to our 2001-2002 season—the 96th in the Orchestra's history. The Orchestra holds a special place in the artistic and cultural landscape of our state. I believe this is a reflection of the orchestra's commitment to blending artistic excellence and achievement with personal enjoyment. It is also thanks to the devotion of the community and those who support us by attending concerts, contributing to the organization, and volunteer efforts.
